Observability

Observability

What is observability?

Observability is the ability to understand what a running system is doing from the outside, by examining the signals it emits. In voice AI, that means seeing in real time how clean the audio is, how confident the ASR is, how fast each stage of the pipeline responded, and whether the agent actually understood the user.

How does observability work?

Each component in the voice stack is instrumented to emit structured signals as it runs. Those signals flow into a telemetry and monitoring backend where they can be aggregated, alerted on, correlated across a conversation, and compared across deployments over time.

How does ai-coustics use observability?

Today, our focus is audio reliability, making voice pipelines work in production rather than just in the lab. But reliability is the foundation, not the ceiling. Our broader mission is audio intelligence: giving voice AI teams the ability not just to clean their audio, but to truly understand it - what is happening on every call, why it is happening, and how it changes over time. Because we sit at the very front of the voice stack and condition every signal that flows through it, we are uniquely positioned to make that visibility real.
