Band limitation occurs when audio only contains a restricted frequency range, often due to recording or transmission constraints.

Traditional phone calls use narrowband audio (300–3400 Hz), which sounds thin compared to full-band speech.

Filtering or codec design removes frequencies outside the allowed band, often reducing richness and intelligibility.

Our Lark model applies reconstructive AI to restore missing frequencies, making narrowband audio sound more natural and full.
